Oriré approaches womenswear through a lens of intentionality—where form, function, and responsibility are considered in equal measure. Founded in Lagos in 2021 by Orire Aleshinnloye, the brand explores femininity through structured silhouettes and soft architectural detailing, balancing strength with fluidity.
Production is deliberately measured. Small-batch runs and made-to-order pieces allow for flexibility while reducing excess, supported by the use of recycled, deadstock, and sustainably sourced fabrics. This approach extends beyond materials into the wider ecosystem of the brand, where close relationships with local artisans and suppliers ensure fair working conditions and a more transparent supply chain.
Equally, Oriré positions itself within a broader social context. Through partnerships and profit-driven initiatives, the brand contributes to programmes that support and empower women, embedding purpose into its operations rather than treating it as an afterthought.
